Consultant / Manager – Cloud Architecture & Transformation

KPMG is expanding its technology offering by developing competencies across infrastructure, business application modernization, IT strategy, and technology-driven organizational transformation, integrating these to meet client needs in the AI era. The role involves collaboration within Cloud & Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, AI, and Engineering teams to deliver ambitious technology transformations.

• Experience in business transformation projects using cloud solutions (business, architectural, or IT scope).
• Practical and proven knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
• Experience in building cloud migration plans and strategies.
• Knowledge of multi-cloud and hybrid cloud strategies, including architecture, governance, security, and cost optimization / FinOps.
• Familiarity with sovereign cloud solutions.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in external or internal consulting aligned with the Consultant / Manager / Senior Manager level.
• Ability to analyze client needs and translate them into effective technology solutions.
• Experience in effective collaboration and relationship building with clients.
• Proficiency in Polish (C2) and English (B2) enabling fluent communication.
• Teamwork skills, support for colleagues, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with GCP or AWS in multi-cloud environments.
• Cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect) or architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF).

• Translating client business challenges into cloud strategies and concrete cloud solutions that transform organizational operations.
• Advising on multi-cloud and hybrid cloud strategies, including operating models, target architecture, governance, security, and cost optimization (FinOps).
• Developing migration strategies and roadmaps to cloud, including environment assessments, 6R/7R approaches, dependency and risk analysis, and TCO/business case.
• Conducting business and technical analysis to understand client needs and translate them into architecture and end-to-end transformation plans.
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives.
• Designing target operating models for cloud, integrating technology with business processes (Cloud Operating Model, Landing Zone, governance, and standards).
• Advising on IT environment modernization from infrastructure to business applications and core systems for cloud adaptation.
• Incorporating regulatory requirements (e.g., DORA, sector-specific regulations) in cloud transformation strategy design.
• Preparing proposals and comprehensive cloud transformation programs for clients.
• Contributing to the development and mentoring of the Cloud practice and team, with responsibilities increasing with the position level.
