DevOps Engineer with Kafka

• Proven track record of bringing distributed, event-driven, high-throughput systems into production
• Solid knowledge of DevOps/SRE best practices and ability to apply pragmatic solutions
• Production experience with Kafka and MongoDB
• Fluent English (C1 level)
• German language skills are an advantage
• Availability to start ASAP

• Golden-signal metrics

Messaging Reliability:

• Partitioning and consumer design

• Schema governance
• Backpressure

Data, Backup & Disaster Recovery:

• Backup/restore including regular tests
• Replication/sharding
• RPO/RTO
• DR playbooks and exercises

Release & Deployment:

• CI/CD with quality gates, canary/blue-green
• Automated rollback
• Feature flags
• Container orchestration (Kubernetes/Cloud Foundry)

SRE Governance:

• SLI/SLO and error budgets
• Incident response
• On-call
• Postmortems
• Reliability by design
