Policy Specialist, gTech Ads Customer Experience

Google's gTech teams of trusted advisors support customers globally, creating technical solutions for Google products to meet complex customer needs, including bespoke solutions and scalable tools across Google.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.
• Ability to work flexible, non-standard working hours.
• Preferred: Experience in online advertising using Google Ads, YouTube, or other systems in a customer-facing role.
• Preferred: Experience using insights from data to influence business decisions.
• Preferred: Experience in project management including initiating workstreams, developing plans, and fostering collaboration.
• Preferred: Policy or billing knowledge.
• Preferred: Excellent communication, organizational, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

• Support updating existing solution content or create repeatable content such as best practices recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, and sample code.
• Ensure effective documentation of repeatable solutions.
• Help generate partner insights and participate in business reviews to formulate partner strategies.
• Manage project planning, status reporting, timeline estimation, issue tracking, meeting facilitation, and project documentation.
• Execute solutions based on defined business objectives and technical requirements, with occasional peer support.
• Assist in identifying trends of solution issues and collaborate with internal teams to mitigate future risks.
