Senior Technical Solutions Consultant, Android

The Android Automotive Partner Engineering team focuses on automotive industry solutions, ensuring vehicles launch with Android Automotive OS (AAOS), Google Automotive Services (GAS), and new automotive products. They collaborate with vehicle OEMs, SoC vendors, and third-party providers to define requirements, enforce compliance, and develop products for a safe and seamless in-car experience.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in Android Systems design, including Automotive Systems design.
• 2 years of experience in partner management, including project, escalation, and product partnerships.
• Experience in project or program management and stakeholder collaboration.
• Experience with object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, or Python).

Preferred:

• Experience with system architecture or device bring-up of Android or other Linux-based platforms.
• Experience managing multiple products and work streams.
• Experience in Android OS embedded software development.
• Experience managing multiple time-sensitive initiatives with high detail orientation.
• Experience with Android Compliance (CTS, GTS, VTS, ATS) and defining software, hardware, UX requirements.
• Capacity to lead high-impact projects with cross-functional teams.

• Execute Automotive Compliance for AAOS, Google Automotive Services, and other automotive embedded products, aligning compliance strategies with other Android verticals.
• Collaborate with Android Automotive team and OEM partners to define ecosystem requirements ensuring high-quality product launches.
• Manage and triage issues from Compatibility Test Suite, Vendor Test Suite, and Automotive Test Suite reported by OEMs and partners.
• Work with third-party suppliers to scale Automotive Compliance for OEM partners.
• Support partner communications, escalations, and exceptions, driving resolutions with regional account teams.
