Senior Embedded Developer (f/m/x)

We are seeking a Senior Embedded Developer to join a project focused on software development for IoT product controllers. The position is part of the Embedded Competence Center at Sii, an internal unit with more than 500 specialists working on approximately 100 projects for 50 clients across industries such as automotive, IoT, telecommunications, and medical.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Embedded Developer
• Proficiency in Embedded C for systems development
• Experience reviewing complex systems design/code for security best practices and industry standards compliance
• Fluency in Polish and English
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying technical information to diverse audiences
• Strong creative problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Residency in Poland

Nice to have:

• Experience with bootloader development

• Worked from the client’s office 2 days per week
• Development of middleware firmware for the entire product platform using C
• Development of bootloaders for a wide range of products
• Implementation of basic audio/video processing algorithms for the reference application
• Implementation of Secure Boot using MBEDTLS, RSA, PK, and asymmetric encryption
• Implementing security measures to prevent side-channel attacks
• Development of unit tests using C++ and Google Test
• Development of automation tests with Python and Pytest
• Maintenance and development of build systems using Makefile and CMake
• Writing proposals and documentation in Confluence
• Collaboration with multiple product teams and providing quick support
• Working in a fast-paced SCRUM environment with frequent 3-week sprints and releases using JIRA

Ability to work from the client's office 2 days a week (hybrid model). Residency in Poland is required.
