Senior Process Engineer – Photonics f/m/x)

The company Sii is hiring an experienced Process Engineer to join their photonics and optical communication solutions team. The role involves working on the full product lifecycle of advanced fiber optic and photonic products in cooperation with global R&D, quality, supply chain, and production teams.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Process Engineering, optoelectronics, photonics, or related technical fields.
• Higher education in photonics or a related discipline.
• Practical knowledge of photonics, fiber optics, optical communication systems, and optoelectronic devices.
• Experience working with optical measurement equipment such as interferometers, optical power meters, microscopes, and vision systems.
• Ability to analyze technical data and use problem-solving and statistical analysis tools like DoE, JMP, Minitab, or FMEA.
• Very good command of English (minimum B2) and Polish.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model from the client office in Stryków.

• Lead projects related to the design, development, and industrialization of photonic products from concept to production implementation.
• Develop and optimize optical, optomechanical, and production processes for fiber optic components and assemblies.
• Use engineering and statistical methods such as DoE, Six Sigma, FMEA, and process capability analysis to improve products and processes.
• Investigate and evaluate new photonics technologies, optical materials, and manufacturing methods through testing and laboratory analyses.
• Monitor technological trends and identify opportunities for innovation and intellectual property development.
• Collaborate with international engineering, quality, production, and supply chain teams to create scalable technical solutions.
