CI/CD Engineer

Over 200 Jit personnel work on more than 60 projects for this Norwegian major provider of financial services with a global presence. The customer emphasizes Scandinavian work culture focused on work-life balance and feedback, with projects executed in international teams using English.

• Very good knowledge of CI/CD platforms such as Bamboo, Jenkins, Tekton, and GitHub Actions.
• Very good knowledge of version control tools like Git and Bitbucket.
• Experience with build tools such as Maven.
• Good knowledge of GitOps and deployment tools like ArgoCD.
• Familiarity with internal developer platforms such as Backstage.
• Experience with artifact repositories like Artifactory.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language: Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Practical knowledge of Linux OS.
• Knowledge of SQL and basic database operations, preferably Oracle.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (MKE, GKE, vCluster).
• Experience with collaboration tools: Jira, Confluence, and MS Teams.
• Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments.
• Previous experience in the financial sector, especially with account or payment systems.
• Experience in international, multi-country teams with fluent English.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proactive, self-driven team player with willingness to learn.

• Ensure all existing pipelines operate smoothly on a daily basis.
• Design and implement automated build and deployment pipelines from DEV to PROD environments, including related tooling and practices.
• Design and implement visualization of system health and operational status for builds and deployments.
• Participate in internal team status calls, planning, and knowledge sharing sessions.
• Participate in dress rehearsals, release go-live events, and production migration events after hours or on weekends.
• Collaborate with experts and managers in own and other teams for troubleshooting and planning improvements.
• Ensure security and compliance in the CI/CD process.
• Document processes and provide training to team members.
