GFT Poland seeks a Senior Oracle Engineer with extensive experience in advanced Oracle PL/SQL development, database performance tuning, and optimization. The role is part of a team responsible for onboarding and integrating new data feeds from upstream systems into the internal source database, forming a foundational data infrastructure for multiple applications and systems.

Wymagania

  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience working with Oracle databases.
  • Strong expertise in advanced PL/SQL development.
  • Hands-on experience developing complex packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Proven experience in database performance tuning and optimization.
  • Strong ability to diagnose performance bottlenecks and optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code.
  • Experience with high-volume databases and large datasets.
  • Experience taking ownership of features throughout the entire development lifecycle.
  • Ability and willingness to independently plan and execute end-to-end testing.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proactive cross-team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to identify technical dependencies, gather information, and resolve integration issues.
  • Good communication skills for working with multiple stakeholders.

Obowiązki

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced Oracle PL/SQL solutions.
  • Create and enhance complex packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex database performance issues.
  • Analyze and optimize slow-running SQL queries and PL/SQL code.
  • Perform database performance tuning and optimization in high-volume data environments.
  • Take full end-to-end ownership of assigned features, from technical analysis and development through testing and delivery.
  • Plan and execute comprehensive E2E testing to ensure the quality and reliability of delivered solutions.
  • Proactively collaborate with relevant stakeholders and technical teams to identify dependencies, gather required data, and resolve integration issues.
  • Support the onboarding and integration of new data feeds from upstream systems into internal databases.
  • Work across the end-to-end data ingestion process, including data filtering, parsing, validation, transformation, and rejection handling.
  • Ensure incoming data meets required quality, consistency, and structural standards before processing.
