Senior C# / .NET Software Engineer

iTeamly is offering a position to develop and maintain a C# / .NET desktop application used for advanced testing and manufacturing workflows. The software integrates closely with hardware, laboratory equipment, and production processes in manufacturing environments.

• 5+ years of experience with C# / .NET.
• Strong experience with desktop applications, ideally WPF or similar GUI frameworks.
• Good understanding of MVVM, async/await, thread safety, and class library design.
• Experience with .NET 8 or later.
• Proficient in concurrent programming, designing thread-safe systems, and avoiding race conditions.
• Practical knowledge of Python and willingness to work with it.
• Experience with OOP, automated testing, and abstraction-driven design.
• Solid understanding of clean architecture, separation of concerns, dependency inversion, dependency injection, and testability.
• Experience with MongoDB or similar document databases.
• Analytical mindset and ability to investigate complex multi-component issues.
• Ability to debug remotely using logs, traces, and telemetry without direct debugger access.

Nice to have:

• Experience with test and measurement instruments like oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, or power meters.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit or MSTest.
• Knowledge of optical communication, photonics, transceivers, or related deep-tech.
• Experience with Python.net.
• Familiarity with hardware interfaces like serial communication, TCP sockets, I2C, GPIB, SCPI, or VISA.
• Experience with factory software, manufacturing systems, or MES integration.

• Develop and maintain a C# / .NET desktop application for testing and manufacturing workflows.
• Build GUI features using MVVM architecture and multi-threaded execution.
• Manage instrument resources and RPC services.
• Integrate software with hardware, laboratory equipment, and test systems.
• Write drivers and control logic for instruments, enabling parallel test execution and resource locking.
• Work with embedded or integrated Python test scripts and libraries.
• Support software used in production environments with a focus on reliability and diagnostics.
• Debug complex issues across application logic, hardware communication, logs, telemetry, and distributed processes.
