Senior IT Service Management Owner – Infrastructure & Security

This position is for a leading player in the IT industry focused on delivering resilient and secure IT services, based in Krakow with a hybrid work model.

• At least 5 years of experience in IT Service Management, Infrastructure support, or Project Management.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL methodologies, especially Service Lifecycle Management, Security, and Continuity.
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure, architecture, and risk management.
• Proven ability to build stakeholder relationships and lead value-driven initiatives.
• Experience with IT controls including access, change management, vulnerability, and backup/disaster recovery.
• Excellent communication skills in English at fluent level.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of German or French.
• Certifications such as ITIL v4, PRINCE2, PMP, or relevant network/IT certificates.
• Basic familiarity with Network, Windows, Linux, Unix, Cloud platforms, Oracle, or MySQL.

• Lead end-to-end management of IT services, ensuring successful operation and continuous improvement.
• Maintain control of application, infrastructure, and service lifecycle in line with ITIL best practices.
• Plan service requirements, capacity upgrades, vulnerability management, and growth initiatives proactively.
• Coordinate and ensure timely delivery and maintenance of IT control tasks, escalating issues as needed.
• Serve as a primary contact and escalation point for stakeholders regarding service requests and incidents.
• Oversee risk management, audit readiness, and compliance with governance, controls, and IT security standards.
• Collaborate with Service Owners, Risk & Control Officers, and Cyber Security teams.
• Regularly review inventory tools, maintain service documentation, and update IT controls and governance standards.
• Own resilience and stability outcomes like backup/restore, disaster recovery testing, incident coordination, and change management.
• Ensure change and release processes are well controlled and meet operational acceptance criteria for go-lives.
