Mid-Level Java Developer – Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

This role supports a global leader in banking and financial services, contributing to the transformation of HSBC's digital landscape. The developer works on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to enhance web capabilities used by over 37 million customers worldwide. The position is based in Kraków with a hybrid work model.

• 2+ years of professional experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
• Strong expertise in Java and web technologies
• Hands-on experience with Apache Sling, OSGi, and JCR
• Proficiency in Rest Services, JUnit, Maven, Git, and SonarQube
• Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)

Nice to have:

• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager apps and online content delivery
• Familiarity with modern development practices and tools

• Design and implement scalable AEM services for HSBC's public websites and campaigns
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless deployment and delivery
• Migrate and modernize existing functionality onto OSGi-based architecture
• Utilize Sling and JCR to develop maintainable digital solutions
• Develop, test, and maintain AEM applications to enhance online customer experiences
• Ensure code quality through rigorous testing and code reviews
• Support ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of digital assets
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the digital platform and processes
