Java Integration Developer

AVENGA is a company associated with IT staffing (Agencja Pracy, nr KRAZ: 8448) located in Warszawa, Poland. The role is within a project focused on transforming the digital business area by developing integration services and APIs in a microservice architecture with CI/CD automation and Kubernetes.

• Minimum 4 years of commercial experience developing applications in Java, including practical work with Java 21+ and Spring Boot (experience with Spring Cloud and Hibernate is a plus).
• Experience designing and implementing intersystem integrations and APIs using REST, JSON, OpenAPI, OAuth 2.0, JWT, SOAP, and XML.
• Experience building asynchronous integrations using Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or another message broker.
• Experience with API Management platforms, including publishing and securing APIs.
• Experience developing microservice architecture solutions and deploying them in Kubernetes environments.
• Experience with CI/CD processes, especially with Bamboo or Jenkins, and using Git/Bitbucket repositories; practice in deployment automation and working with Jira.
• Experience writing unit tests and using testing frameworks for Java.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL or Oracle databases, including query creation and optimization using SQL.
• Proven independence in problem-solving and technical decision-making.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Microsoft Azure API Management or an equivalent solution.
• Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Experience using Apache NiFi in integration solutions.

• Design, implement, test, and maintain integration flows and APIs according to requirements and Definition of Done.
• Actively participate in technical decisions regarding integrations and APIs, considering architectural standards.
• Ensure quality, security, availability, and performance of delivered solutions, including diagnosing and resolving problems.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, Product Owners, and project teams to refine requirements and agree on solutions.
• Participate in estimation, work planning, and technical risk analysis.
• Support team members in solving technical problems and share best practices.
• Regularly participate in code reviews and develop code quality and automation standards.
