Fullstack Java Developer Mid

The company apreel Sp. z o.o. is hiring for a fullstack role focused on building and developing microservices architecture systems supporting claim reporting and processing processes. The work includes designing, implementing, and maintaining APIs and integrations between systems with a hybrid work mode based in Warsaw/Wola.

• Good knowledge of Java (>5 years).
• Good knowledge of Kafka (>3 years).
• Good knowledge of Spring, Hibernate, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud (>5 years).
• Good knowledge of SQL (>5 years).
• Knowledge of quality assurance frameworks for unit testing (JUnit, TestNG, Spock) and integration testing (Testcontainers, WireMock).
• Knowledge of Functional Programming and Object-Oriented Programming paradigms.
• Knowledge of application containerization.
• Knowledge of process engines and BPMN notation.
• Knowledge of resilience patterns and mechanisms for distributed system services.
• Knowledge of Angular framework and experience in frontend application development.
• Ability to adopt AI tools in the software development process.
• Knowledge of performance diagnostics tools for implemented solutions.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge and practical experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience using AI agents and Agentic AI tools in software development.
• Experience with cloud solutions.

• Build and develop systems in a microservices architecture supporting claim reporting and handling processes.
• Design, implement and maintain APIs and integrations between systems.
• Participate in system solution design and implement functional and non-functional requirements.
• Improve business processes by delivering efficient and scalable IT solutions.
• Ensure high software quality by developing automated tests, applying engineering best practices and code quality care.
• Actively use AI tools and Agentic AI approach in software development including requirements analysis, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
• Perform and participate in code reviews using modern tools supporting code quality and security.
• Participate in scrum events and collaborate within an agile multidisciplinary team.
• Co-create software development standards and AI usage in the software development process.
• Daily collaboration in a team focused on knowledge sharing, continuous improvement and delivering high-quality solutions for large scale and high transaction volume systems.
