Power BI Developer

apreel was founded in April 2010 by friends who dreamed of creating their own software house. Over time, the company expanded to offer IT expert leasing services, which is now the main pillar of apreel's business.

• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
• Very good knowledge of Power BI (Desktop and Service)
• Strong expertise in data modeling (star schema, relationships, optimization)
• Knowledge of report performance optimization

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of DAX

• Knowledge of Power Query

• Experience with Azure Data Factory

• Basic SQL skills

• Familiarity with Capacity Metrics App

• Language requirements:

  • Polish (expert)
  • English (advanced)

• Build reports and business dashboards from scratch using Power BI (Desktop and Service)
• Perform data modeling including star schema design, relationships, and model optimization
• Write measures, KPIs, and perform business calculations using DAX and Power Query
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into reporting solutions
• Optimize report performance and monitor reports handling large data volumes
• Publish reports, manage permissions, and administer workspaces in Power BI Service
• Read, analyze, and maintain existing pipelines in Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Troubleshoot pipeline issues and monitor ETL process executions
• Validate data and perform source data analysis using SQL
