Senior Java Developer (f/m/x)

Join an international team developing a complex business-critical software platform for a global leader in the energy and maritime industry. The role includes driving the platform’s future development and contributing to cloud transformation initiatives.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Full-stack Java Developer
• Strong expertise in Java, Python, React.js, Node.js, and Golang
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically GCP and AWS
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code automation and scripting tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Proficient in using GitHub and CI/CD practices

Nice to have:

• Experience with data streaming solutions like Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Knowledge of power systems, edge computing, or IoT
• Familiarity with hardware or bare metal solutions

• Taking ownership of complex custom software solutions and development pipelines
• Setting up a cloud-based environment in GCP for development, build, and deployment
• Collaborating with developers to enhance and maintain existing solutions
• Utilizing modern technologies such as Java, Python, React.js, Node.js, and Golang
• Implementing Infrastructure as Code automation with tools like Terraform and Ansible
• Working with version control systems including GitHub and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions
• Maintaining legacy pipelines in Jenkins as needed
• Exploring integration of data streaming solutions such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ
