Senior Technical SEO Specialist

Invia x Travelplanet.pl x Wakacje.pl is one of the largest travel groups in Europe helping more than 6 million people plan their trips annually. The role focuses on the shared travel platform behind Travelplanet.pl and Invia in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).

• Minimum 5+ years of SEO experience, with at least 3 years focusing on technical SEO.
• Proven experience managing technical SEO for large-scale, template-driven websites such as e-commerce platforms or portals.
• Strong expertise in crawling, indexing, site architecture, internal linking, JavaScript rendering, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and server log analysis.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP with ability to diagnose technical issues and collaborate with developers.
• Experience defining technical requirements, validating implementations, and measuring SEO impact.
• Ability to use AI-powered tools to automate analysis while critically evaluating results.
• Strong analytical thinking, ownership, and multitasking abilities to manage complex projects prioritizing business impact.
• Excellent communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Up-to-date knowledge of search engine developments including AI search.

Nice to have:

• Experience with multi-market or multi-brand websites, including hreflang implementation.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as React and Next.js (SSR, SSG, hydration).
• Basic knowledge of Python or SQL to read scripts and validate results.

• Define and prioritize technical SEO initiatives based on impact on organic visibility, traffic, and business goals.
• Conduct technical SEO audits, monitor platform health, and perform SEO regression testing before and after releases.
• Ensure technical SEO consistency across Invia CEE x Travelplanet.pl brands and CEE markets, including international SEO and hreflang implementation.
• Own technical SEO projects end-to-end from requirements and implementation testing to performance measurement.
• Collaborate closely with Development and QA teams to integrate SEO best practices into platform development.
• Optimize crawling, indexing, site architecture, internal linking, JavaScript rendering, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and AI search visibility.
• Analyze server logs and crawler behavior, including Googlebot and AI crawlers, to identify inefficiencies and optimization opportunities.
• Develop SEO guidelines, automated monitoring, alerts, and testing standards for Development and QA teams.
