Senior Backend Engineer, Security Automation

Intuition Machines builds enterprise security products focused on AI/ML. Their products serve hundreds of millions of people globally. The company is rapidly growing and seeks engineers for cutting-edge research transitioning to large-scale production.

• 5+ years of experience in backend software development.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with microservice-based architectures.
• Deep understanding of programming best practices, design patterns, and testing methodologies.
• Experience writing secure code and applying OWASP security principles.
• Solid experience working with SQL databases.
• Strong communication skills and capability to collaborate across technical teams.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized development workflows.

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or other orchestration platforms.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies or frameworks.
• Experience participating in bug bounty programs or contributing to security research (e.g., public CVEs).
• Understanding of browser and network security, modern web architecture, and web automation frameworks.
• Working knowledge of Linux environments.

• Design, build, and maintain automation tools and services supporting SOC operations from requirements to deployment.
• Streamline workflows and improve security efficiency using technologies such as microservices, Kubernetes, Python, and message queues.
• Collaborate closely with security analysts and engineers to solve automation and operational challenges.
• Research emerging security and automation standards and identify new defense technologies.
• Contribute to system reliability, observability, and scalability through automation and process design.
