Non Functional Test Engineer / Performance Test Engineer

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years testing experience, including 5+ years in non‑functional testing
• Proven ability to manage and execute non‑functional testing in large, complex programs
• Ability to work independently and in distributed teams
• Define and roll out processes and standards
• Performance testing/engineering with LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling or similar
• Experience in Agile teams; knowledge of SAFe
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices
• Mandatory Jira experience; qTest is a plus
• Ability to write SQL queries and analyze AWR reports
• Experience with Subversion, Jenkins, Maven, Git
• Familiarity with web services: XML, SOAP, JSON
• Fluent English, spoken and written
• Open-minded; able to set direction and goals for the team
• Strong planning, prioritization, and structured delivery focused on quality and timeliness
• Excellent communication across organizational levels
• Experience in complex, multi-stream environments across business units and vendors
• Proactive, self-driven, solution-oriented; comfortable with change
• Non‑functional testing/analysis (performance and/or reliability), troubleshooting and optimization of enterprise solutions
• Experience with distributed delivery teams

• Create release test strategy and test plans based on non‑functional requirements and risk analysis; drive non‑functional testing for releases
• Create and review performance test cases and test scripts, including peer review
• Design and execute performance, reliability, and resilience tests
• Identify performance issues and drive tuning activities with relevant technology experts
• Perform defect prioritization and drive defect fixing with relevant teams
• Collaborate with external teams on test planning, execution, and change implementation
• Create non‑functional test reports and present results to stakeholders
• Support production monitoring setup by verifying monitoring in lower environments
• Review and prioritize non‑functional testing activities, track deliverables, and provide status reporting
• Review existing practices and actively drive improvements
• Incorporate non‑functional testing activities into CI/CD
