Internal Kubernetes Platform Engineering Team Lead

Mindbox is a tech-driven company that connects top IT talents with technology projects for leading enterprises across Europe. This role is within the Private Cloud division, which manages internal cloud platforms supporting secure and efficient operations for internal customers worldwide.

• Strong administrative knowledge and hands-on experience with containerization and Kubernetes in production.
• Engineering mindset for automation development, APIs, and pipelines.
• Core skills include Linux OS, Containers, and Kubernetes ecosystem components (including Istio, Cilium, CSI).
• Scripting skills in Bash and programming in Python or Golang.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Jenkins and Ansible, and observability platforms like Splunk and Datadog.
• Experience in infrastructure lifecycle management and SDLC with GitHub.
• Awareness of ITIL processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
• Proficiency in English for global communication.

Nice to have:

• Experience with HTTP protocols, storage solutions such as SAN/NAS, large-scale Kubernetes environments, and VMware vSphere.

• Deliver end-to-end platform engineering and lifecycle management for the Internal Kubernetes Platform.
• Develop tools and automation to manage platform infrastructure and services lifecycle.
• Drive orchestrated operations for automation solutions, improving reliability, quality, and upgrade timelines.
• Optimize system performance and resource utilization; plan for future capacity.
• Build dashboards and visualizations to provide platform transparency.
• Implement self-healing solutions and resolve system issues proactively.
• Deliver operational support and consultancy for multiple software development teams.
• Coordinate weekend implementation tasks approximately twice a month following global schedules.
• Manage a team of 5 engineers in Poland and align workloads with global objectives.
