Full Stack Engineer

BJAK started in 2019, building the first mobile-first insurance platform, accessible online by millions in Southeast Asia. It is the leading insurance platform in the region and is expanding to include services like spending, saving, investing, exchanging, and travelling. BJAK has teams globally with over 20 nationalities, working from offices and remotely.

• Strong full stack engineering experience with real shipped products.
• Comfortable across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and production debugging.
• Good frontend execution using React, Next.js, Vue, or similar modern stack.
• Good backend fundamentals around APIs, data models, authentication, integrations, and reliability.
• Strong product sense and ability to simplify messy workflows.
• Able to work fast with ambiguity and own outcomes end-to-end.

• Build and ship full product features across frontend, backend, APIs, and databases.
• Create customer and internal workflows for onboarding, accounts, payments, rewards, travel, FX, support automation, KYC, and risk.
• Turn ambiguous product problems into working systems with clean UX and reliable backend logic.
• Work closely with product, design, mobile, backend, and AI engineers to launch fast and improve after release.
• Build internal tools and automation to reduce manual work and help teams operate at scale.
• Own your work beyond release by monitoring, debugging, learning, and improving.

This role is remote, but candidates must be based in Poland. English is the main working language and strong communication skills in English are required.
