The technician will support change and maintenance-window processes and oversee third-party contractors onsite to ensure smooth data center operations.
Wymagania
- Minimum 3 years overall IT experience including 2+ years in a similar data center operations role
- Hands-on experience with server and network device installation, rack layouts, PDU and cabling standards
- Basic LAN, patching, and switch networking knowledge
- Experience with asset management and inventory systems, change management, and data center procedures
- Strong hardware troubleshooting skills and structured documentation and reporting habits
- Comfortable working in data center environments with manual handling of heavy IT/DC equipment
- Ability to travel between sites in Poland and abroad as required
- Valid driving licence, category B
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- English proficiency at B2+ level
- Willingness and eligibility to obtain and hold a CONFIDENTIEL UE/EU CONFIDENTIAL personal security clearance (screening must begin within first 45 days)
Obowiązki
- Install and decommission data center components, servers, and network switches following "Rack & Stack" procedures
- Maintain cabling and labelling end-to-end verifying against documented standards
- Manage stores & logistics including upkeep of the DC store and receiving deliveries
- Run inventory audits and produce capacity and hardware-health reporting
- Support hardware maintenance and RMA processes with the DC Contract Manager
- Plan capacity and rack layouts and oversee third-party contractors onsite
- Maintain documentation for maintenance management and planned-maintenance-window notifications
- Prepare and execute changes to the Data Centre / IT core infrastructure
Benefity
- Reimbursed travel up to €8,000 per 12-month period
- Long-term contract: initial 12 months with possibility of up to 3 annual renewals (up to 48 months total)
