Senior Delivery Manager - Insurance

• Minimum 8 years in IT services, consulting, or digital delivery with hands-on technology background such as software engineering, solution architecture, or technology consulting.
• Practical experience with AI in delivery, including AI-based solutions or driving AI adoption across the SDLC.
• Full ownership of mid- or large-scale engagement delivery (40–50+ FTE and $5M+ contract value) with P&L accountability.
• Proven leadership in client engagement, delivery management, and presales, including ownership of RFP/RFI responses and proposals.
• Experience managing MSAs, SOWs, commercial models, scope, margin, and change management; knowledge of fixed-price or outcome-based models.
• Direct engagement with C-level/VP client stakeholders with strong commercial negotiation and account-growth mindset.
• Expertise in engagement governance, delivery orchestration, and escalation management, integrating sales, delivery, and operations.
• Working knowledge of solution architecture fundamentals and software engineering best practices such as code quality, CI/CD, testing, tooling, and architecture governance.
• Basic awareness of security and compliance standards relevant to IT delivery including data privacy, ISO/ITIL practices.
• Experience delivering solutions in the insurance sector, familiar with regulatory frameworks like Solvency II, GDPR and legacy core systems.
• Excellent written and spoken English (minimum B2 level, preferably C1+).

• Own the engagement lifecycle end-to-end, including full ownership of outcomes and P&L (revenue and profitability).
• Build trusted relationships with C-level executives (e.g., CTO, CIO), VPs, and senior client stakeholders; lead governance, expectation management, and escalations.
• Lead presales engagements and RFP/RFI responses, collaborating with Sales and Solution Architects to define engagement models and delivery approaches.
• Oversee deal-to-delivery transition, ensuring alignment of SOWs, commercial agreements, and delivery plans.
• Manage and grow a team of Delivery/Program Managers and Tech Leads, scaling from a single delivery team to multiple managers.
• Establish data-driven delivery governance including KPIs, reporting, risk mitigation, scope and commercial management.
• Drive AI adoption across delivery teams to improve SDLC efficiency and competitive RFP/proposal narratives.
• Oversee architecture governance to ensure solutions meet client requirements, constraints, and quality standards.
