Senior Azure Platform Engineer

• 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, cloud networking, and platform engineering with demonstrable delivery on Azure at scale
• Experience applying the Azure Well-Architected Framework across Security, Reliability, Cost Optimization, Operational Excellence, and Performance Efficiency
• Deep hands-on experience with Terraform, including module design and state management; knowledge of ARM/Bicep is a plus
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure networking and security, including connectivity, segmentation, hybrid infrastructure, identity, governance, and security controls
• Experience designing and managing infrastructure CI/CD and GitOps processes
• Strong scripting and automation skills in Python or PowerShell
• Deep experience with Azure observability, including monitoring, logging, application insights, and alerting
• Experience building developer-facing platforms, templates, onboarding flows, or similar developer experience improvements
• Practical experience applying Generative AI tools to development, diagnostics, automation, or infrastructure tasks
• Strong ownership and customer-oriented mindset, excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments, solve complex problems, proactively share knowledge, and mentor others
• Experience working in Agile teams, shaping epics and stories in Jira
• Comfortable working across Windows and Linux environments
• Good command of English with minimum B2 level

Nice to have:

• Experience applying Generative AI in a structured way within the SDLC, including defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations embedded into daily work
• Interest and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices such as agent-based workflows, automation patterns, and AI-augmented development, with willingness to explore and experiment

• Designing, implementing, and operating secure and scalable Azure platform capabilities
• Building and managing infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Leading Azure networking, including connectivity, routing, segmentation, and hybrid infrastructure
• Implementing security policies, governance, and platform guardrails
• Applying the Azure Well-Architected Framework to drive platform design and continuous improvement
• Designing and maintaining CI/CD and GitOps processes for infrastructure
• Developing automation and observability solutions using Azure-native tools and scripting in Python or PowerShell
• Building developer-facing platform capabilities, reusable templates, and self-service solutions
• Applying Generative AI to infrastructure development, diagnostics, automation, and operational troubleshooting
• Collaborating with technical teams, mentoring engineers, and supporting the adoption of platform engineering practices
