Product Designer

SwingDev is the Polish branch of Hippo Insurance, an InsurTech product company focused on smarter, proactive home insurance and customer-centric digital products.

• 3+ years shipping production work with a portfolio showing process, data, and impact
• Strong knowledge of Figma: components, variables, auto-layout, prototyping
• Comfort with data-dense, workflow-heavy interfaces (tables, filters, dashboards, multi-step flows)
• Using LLMs as part of the design toolkit
• Ability to run solo on a project with Staff Designer support
• Initiative and honest giving and taking of feedback
• Fluent English and availability in the afternoons 2-3 days a week, occasional evening calls for US time zones

• Experience with internal tools or ops-heavy products

• Working with US stakeholders

• Designing intuitive, accessible internal tools for Hippo teams such as claims platforms, underwriting AI, and agent portals
• Partnering with PMs and Engineers from discovery onward to define problems, explore solutions, and ship impactful features
• Running user interviews, shadow sessions, and lightweight feedback loops with users
• Sketching, wireframing, and prototyping at the right fidelity using Figma and LLMs daily
• Facilitating conversations to align product, design, and engineering
• Sharing work openly and participating in weekly design critiques
