Windows Platform Engineer

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in administration and engineering of Windows Server environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2019, 2022, and 2025, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and fundamental network services such as DNS and DHCP.
• Advanced scripting and automation skills using PowerShell.
• Extensive practical experience with SCCM, particularly in patch management and configuration.
• Experience in infrastructure automation, CI/CD processes, and working with Git and Jira.
• Good knowledge of hybrid environments combining on-premises infrastructure with cloud platforms like Azure and GCP.
• Familiarity with infrastructure areas including networking, storage, virtualization, backup, high availability clusters (failover clustering), and disaster recovery.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose failure causes.
• Very good English communication skills (minimum B2+ level).

Nice to have:

• Experience in automation based on AI or knowledge of self-healing infrastructure concepts.
• Microsoft certifications related to Windows Server.
• Knowledge of Linux.
• Programming or scripting experience in Python.

• Redesigning and improving Windows patch management processes using SCCM.
• Designing and implementing infrastructure automation using PowerShell and CI/CD technologies.
• Creating and maintaining Group Policies (GPO) and Windows security baselines.
• Acting as a specialist in Windows operating systems and providing expert knowledge in infrastructure areas including Active Directory, networking, storage, and virtualization.
• Supporting the creation and automated deployment of new Windows system images.
• Supporting migration of on-premises infrastructure to cloud environments.
• Collaborating closely with a Platform Owner and the Scrum team to manage the engineering backlog and platform improvement.
• Advanced troubleshooting and administrative support for Windows Server environments.
