Embedded Manual Tester – Audio/Video Solutions (Embedded Systems)

SpyroSoft Solutions S.A. is hiring for a position based in Kraków focused on testing advanced audio video conferencing products in a hybrid working model.

• Minimum 4–5 years in QA/testing with hands-on experience testing video and/or audio products (cameras, conferencing devices, mics, video bars, streaming solutions)
• Advanced experience with embedded Linux and Android environments
• Strong cross-platform testing skills on Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS focusing on audio/video
• Understanding of AV codecs, streaming protocols, and multimedia performance metrics
• Knowledge of USB, Bluetooth, Wifi/Ethernet protocols
• Ability to clearly document and communicate test results

Nice to have:

• Experience using AI tools in daily workflow
• Experience with network sniffers (e.g., Wireshark) and debugging tools (e.g., ADB)
• Programming skills in Python and Bash scripting for automation or troubleshooting
• Experience with automation frameworks for video/audio testing
• Bash scripting knowledge for Linux/embedded task automation

Video & Audio Solution Testing (Primary Focus):

• Lead hands-on testing of video and audio products like cameras, microphones, and conferencing systems
• Analyze, design, and execute test scenarios assessing streaming quality, features, and cross-platform integration
• Collaborate with product teams to maintain highest multimedia device quality standards

Embedded & Cross-Platform Testing:

• Test multimedia device performance in embedded Linux, Android, Windows, macOS, Linux, and ChromeOS
• Validate device connectivity focusing on AV quality over USB, Bluetooth, and Wifi/Ethernet

Test Planning & Execution:

• Review requirements to develop comprehensive audio/video test coverage
• Maintain and execute detailed test cases evaluating AV quality and product risks
• Prepare and present data-driven reports on product quality
