Senior Platform Engineer

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with proven hands-on coding experience.
• 6+ years experience in platform or DevOps engineering roles managing complex cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with GCP, AWS, Kubernetes (GKE/EKS), and Terraform.
• Expertise in building scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure focusing on automation.
• Coding proficiency in Go or Typescript with knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Argo CD and Atlantis.
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote distributed team.
• Prior platform engineering project experience.

• Function as an individual contributor with code reviews, mentorship, and collaboration with feature teams.
• Architect, design, and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform with best software engineering practices.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters on GCP (GKE) and AWS (EKS).
• Develop and maintain internal CI/CD software systems, integrating tools like Argo CD and Atlantis.
• Diagnose and resolve platform-related issues including performance and security.
• Drive automation initiatives to improve system reliability and operational task efficiency.
• Act as a strategic partner to development teams by understanding their infrastructure needs.
• Participate in the software development lifecycle of internal platform tools and APIs.
• Implement and enforce security best practices and ensure compliance with standards like SOC 2 and GDPR.

This role is open to full-time employees residing remotely in the UK, Ireland, Estonia, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Israel, as well as contractors in Eastern Europe and Portugal.
