Senior Director, IT Applications

SimCorp is a leading provider of integrated investment management solutions with over 4,000 employees and a 50+ year history. It is an independent subsidiary of the Deutsche Börse Group and recently merged with Axioma to offer a full front-to-back product offering to financial clients. The company focuses on financial technology and enterprise application management with platforms such as Workday, Salesforce, and SAP S/4HANA.

• 10+ years of leadership experience in enterprise applications with deep expertise in Workday and Salesforce or combined experience.
• 5+ years of people management leading teams of platform owners, administrators, or related specialists.
• Proven track record establishing and operating governance models for enterprise platforms in global, regulated, or financial environments.
• Solid understanding of enterprise integration architectures.
• Experience managing SaaS vendors, software licensing, and strategic partner relationships.
• Knowledge of data privacy, risk, and security frameworks including GDPR, SOC 2, and ISO 27001.
• Effective stakeholder management and communication skills at executive and technical levels.
• Workday and/or Salesforce certifications considered an advantage.

• Define and own multi-year strategy, roadmap, and operating model for Workday and Salesforce aligning with business priorities.
• Establish and chair platform governance forums with key stakeholders.
• Ensure stability, performance, security, and availability of Workday and Salesforce through release management and monitoring.
• Oversee end-to-end integration landscape across Workday, Salesforce, and SAP S/4HANA.
• Manage relationships with software vendors, implementation partners, and managed service providers including contracts and licensing.
• Own platform security and access governance including role design, segregation of duties, and compliance.
• Partner with Information Security, Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit teams for controls and GDPR adherence.
• Drive continuous improvement and adoption of platform capabilities to enhance business value and user experience.
