Senior Back-end Engineer - PHP, commerce pillar (6-month contract, remote)

• Good level of English (spoken and written).
• 5+ years in Backend development with proficiency in PHP or Node.js, and willingness to learn the other.
• Strong expertise in high-load architecture, Distributed Systems, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and CQRS.
• Solid background in software engineering principles and best practices (SOLID, TDD, CI/CD, Agile).
• Comfortable using Claude as an LLM partner for architectural brainstorming and code generation.
• Skilled in debugging, unit testing, and application performance optimization.
• Product-minded approach prioritizing business impact with strong ownership.

• Write and ship high-quality, scalable code while identifying areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders, applying product thinking to technical decisions.
• Participate in code reviews, refactoring, testing, and pair programming to contribute to engineering culture.
• Take ownership and execute design and delivery of initiatives, including bug fixes and platform improvements.
• Engage in knowledge sharing and continuously develop technical and soft skills through best practices.
