QA Automation Engineer

The role involves working on SALOG, the global Air & Sea Logistics IT System that supports Kuehne+Nagel's operations worldwide, focusing on ensuring the quality, reliability, and stability of business-critical applications across global logistics operations.

• Professional experience in Test Automation, Quality Assurance, or Software Development with hands-on automated testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, QA methodologies, and software development lifecycle.
• Experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Experience with Cucumber and Gherkin for behavior-driven test scenarios.
• Understanding of test automation architecture, test data, environments, synchronization, and maintainable automation design.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to work in Agile, cross-functional teams within large application landscapes.

• Develop, maintain, and improve automated tests for a complex, mission-critical application.
• Analyze business requirements, specifications, and technical designs to identify risks and ensure testability and automation readiness.
• Translate business scenarios and acceptance criteria into maintainable automated tests covering functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Investigate test failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.
• Work with Cucumber/Gherkin, Selenium, and AssertJ within the existing test automation framework.
• Contribute to the transition towards Playwright with TypeScript, establishing modern automation practices.
• Support integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for reliable execution.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, designers, and stakeholders to improve test coverage and QA processes.

Zgoda na przetwarzanie danych osobowych może zostać wycofana w dowolnym momencie.
