Performance Tester - JMeter - Short-term Contract

• Fluent Polish.
• Experience in requirement analysis, test case design, and test execution.
• At least 6 years of hands-on performance testing experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Apache JMeter — maintaining, extending, and executing performance test scripts.
• Experience testing monolithic web applications built on .NET and Microsoft SQL Server, including Windows Services.
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and SQL scripting.
• Practical knowledge of Windows and Windows Services.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools like Azure Portal, Grafana, Dynatrace or equivalent.
• Proficiency with shell commands (cmd, bash, or PowerShell).
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI or equivalent).
• Experience using web browser developer tools for performance analysis.
• Familiarity with defect management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira).
• Knowledge of Playwright or another UI-level performance testing tool is a strong plus.

• Define the performance testing strategy including objectives, workload models, test scenarios, entry/exit criteria, and acceptance thresholds.
• Set up and maintain the performance testing framework for web applications, web services, and Windows Services.
• Create and execute performance test scripts analyzing connection handling and session management against real browser/application traffic.
• Design realistic workload models and recommend innovative performance testing approaches.
• Run tests on PROD environment within agreed maintenance windows and analyze results.
• Design, configure, and troubleshoot distributed load-generation environments across on-premises machines and Azure virtual machines.
• Manage test data and environments, coordinating with infrastructure teams to prepare and validate PREPROD/PROD environments.
• Analyze application, database, and infrastructure performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and prepare actionable recommendations.

Location: Warsaw, Poland – remote, hybrid, or on-site. Type of agreement: B2B contract, temporary assignment (4–5 months); no confirmed extension at this stage.
