System Engineer

This role supports offshore wind projects by ensuring quality, testing, and documentation of integrated lighting and power management systems in manufacturing-related energy infrastructure.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Systems Engineering, or similar
• 3+ years of relevant experience in offshore, marine, or industrial systems (offshore wind or oil & gas preferred)
• Familiarity with Beckhoff, DALI2, Modbus, Profinet, SCADA, UPS systems, and IEC/ISO offshore standards
• Experience in system testing and commissioning
• Solid understanding of QA processes and documentation standards
• Proficient in Confluence, Jira, and technical writing tools
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Norwegian and Polish language skills are an advantage

Nice to have:

• Experience in technical content writing

• Support the engineering and commissioning of Beckhoff-based lighting and control systems
• Monitor power distribution platforms
• Plan and execute Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and integration test procedures
• Verify functional safety and fail-safe logic
• Maintain quality checkpoints during engineering and testing phases
• Ensure traceability of design changes and testing outcomes
• Produce system documentation and maintain version control
• Collaborate with project teams to reflect accurate configurations
