Red Team Operator (Expert IT Security Specialist)

Nordea is a major Nordic bank undergoing technological transformation with a Cyber Security department focused on protecting the bank. The role is part of the Offensive Testing team within the Cyber Security department.

• 3+ years of professional experience in Red and Purple Team exercises
• Hands-on experience performing Penetration Testing engagements
• Practical experience with Command and Control tools, writing exploits, fuzzing, and breach attack simulation tools
• Experience in regulatory-based Red Teaming (e.g., TIBER, CBEST, iCAST, FEER, AASE)
• Working experience with the Mitre’s ATT&CK framework
• Solid understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems
• Good knowledge of networks/networking
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, Perl and coding languages including C/C++, Java, C#
• Good English written and spoken communication skills
• Analytical skills and ability to work independently
• Ability to explain complex technical problems to a business-oriented audience

• Participate in Red Team exercises (TLPT and TIBER), including preparation, execution, and reporting phases
• Oversee external vendors for offensive security exercises
• Cooperate with Blue Team and stakeholders during Purple Teaming engagements
• Prepare, execute, and report on offensive security projects such as Security Control Testing, War Gaming, and Attack Path Mapping
• Act as a subject matter expert in Offensive Security
