Automation QA Engineer | Senior | NordVPN | Android team

• Proven experience as an Automation QA Engineer (5+ years)
• Strong proficiency in Android test automation using Kotlin or Java
• Experience with Android testing frameworks such as Espresso, UIAutomator, or Appium
• Experience working in Android Studio
• Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, XRAY)
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6, LoadRunner)

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for an Android application using Kotlin
• Design, implement, and execute automated tests for new and existing features
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and manual QA team members to define test plans and strategies
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with the development team to resolve defects
• Continuously improve the automation framework and integrate it into CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure timely and accurate test coverage for regression and feature testing
• Contribute to quality best practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement in QA processes
