Senior Mobile Product Engineer, Intelligent Platforms (all genders)

The Behavioral Data & Experimentation team owns digital tracking infrastructure and data products across all markets globally.

• Hands-on experience using AI tooling daily, understanding context impact on AI output quality.
• 5+ years of mobile engineering experience with strong native skills, ideally on Android with Kotlin.
• Flexible cross-platform mindset with ability to work across mobile and web codebases.
• Proficiency in Generative AI tools to enhance development productivity and quality.
• Commitment to engineering excellence, system stability, and resilient infrastructure design.
• Experience building and maintaining automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Proven ability to work across engineering, product, and data teams in ambiguous environments.
• Deep expertise with app release cycles, test automation, on-device performance, and platform UX conventions.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical decisions to diverse audiences.
• Product sense with data and user evidence backed opinions on feature development.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with client-side signals in GTM and Snowplow, A/B testing, and feature-flagging frameworks like Statsig.
• Hands-on experience with iOS development using Swift.
• Experience with web frontend development using React and TypeScript.
• Basic backend or data engineering experience with Node.js, Python, REST API, gRPC, or data pipelines.

Core responsibilities:

• Own and evolve tracking and experimentation SDKs across Android native and React Native layers.
• Solve native mobile telemetry challenges such as lifecycle events, background sync, offline event buffering, and custom native bridges.
• Embed AI-driven workflows into platform tooling to increase automation and data quality.
• Implement robust automated testing, rigorous error handling, and maintain high-quality release practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, software, and data engineers to continuously improve the platform.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards.
• Own mobile app quality metrics including retention, crash-free sessions, and conversion.
• Operate and monitor systems in production, iterating post-deployment.
• Work beyond mobile specialization when required by the problem.
