Project Manager, Officer

State Street is a global financial services firm serving institutional investors such as asset managers, asset owners, insurance companies, and official institutions. The role is in the Investment Services function that integrates client-facing teams across locations, products, and capabilities.

• Excellent project management and change management experience and training.
• Strong managerial skills with ability to manage people under time constraints.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, negotiation, facilitation, and relationship management skills.
• Higher education in Business, Finance, or Information Technology.
• Three to five years of relevant experience in Financial Services and/or implementation.
• Knowledge of Project Management Institute standards; PMI certification advantageous.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

• Manage projects through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closing.
• Take responsibility for scope, time, and resource management.
• Coordinate project planning and execution with project teams, subject matter experts, stakeholders, sponsors, PMO, and the Programmer Director.
• Manage organizational change including tracking and responding to user feedback.
• Maintain responsibility for project execution and follow-up until product implementation and utilization.
