Analityk BI w obszarze finansów (m/k/os.)

Asseco Poland S.A. is recruiting for a BI Analyst position in the financial domain with offices in Rzeszów and Warszawa. The company offers a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, employing under a permanent employment contract.

• Minimum 2 years of experience creating and developing solutions based on Power BI
• Practical experience working with Microsoft Fabric
• Strong practical knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
• Strong knowledge of the DAX language including complex measures, filter context, row context, and calculation optimization
• Good knowledge of Power Query and M language
• Good knowledge of SQL and ability to independently prepare and optimize queries
• Experience in designing data models
• Experience working with data from various sources such as ERP systems, SQL databases, Excel/CSV files
• Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements independently
• Ability to translate user needs into clear, useful, and scalable reporting solutions
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and Power Query
• Higher education, preferred in computer science, data analysis, economics, finance, mathematics or related fields
• Independence, responsibility for implemented solutions, and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and focus on data quality, consistency, and security
• Ability to collaborate with business users and technical teams

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of financial processes, controlling, budgeting, and variance analysis
• Knowledge of Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages used for automation
• Experience working with data warehouses and cloud environments
• Knowledge of machine learning basics and practical applications of predictive models in business data analysis
• Experience with AI tools
• Knowledge of Python libraries used for data analysis and building basic ML models
• Experience with ERP systems, especially SOFTLAB ERP

• Designing, creating, and developing reports and dashboards in Power BI supporting management, financial, and operational processes
• Creating advanced measures and calculations in DAX and optimizing performance of models and reports
• Extracting, transforming, and integrating data using Power Query, SQL, and tools available in Microsoft Fabric
• Designing and automating data feeding, processing, and publication processes
• Implementing solutions automating reporting processes using Power Query, Power Automate, and scripts
• Ensuring data quality and consistency through control mechanisms and identifying discrepancies and anomalies
• Gathering business requirements and translating them into functional, scalable analytical solutions
• Collaborating with controlling, finance, IT, and business process owners
• Creating technical documentation, data model documentation, and user instructions
• Co-developing reporting standards, visualization, naming conventions, and BI environment management
• Supporting and developing competencies of business users of Power BI
• Identifying and implementing AI and machine learning applications in data analysis, forecasting, and report automation
• Collaborating on developing predictive models and their integration with Power BI
