Revenue Operations Executive - Consumer Technology · Remote

The role supports Shamaazi and the Aevum group in ensuring accurate donation reporting, reconciliation, and donor-advised fund (DAF) operations for multiple charitable platforms.

• 2-3 years in revenue, finance, payments operations, or grants administration
• Strong spreadsheet skills including lookups, pivots, and large dataset reconciliation
• Experience reconciling transactions with payment processors or banks
• Experience producing recurring reports to external stakeholders under deadlines
• Excellent written English and confident external communication
• Ability to work reliably during UK core hours and flexibility during peak periods
• Accurate, reliable, structured, proactive, clear communicator, data-confident, and high ownership

Highly desirable:

• Working knowledge of SQL or BI tools like Metabase
• Experience with Stripe or similar payments platforms
• Experience in charity/fundraising sectors, including UK Gift Aid and donor-advised funds
• Understanding of Ramadan and related seasonal giving
• Experience with tools like Notion and Linear

Particularly exciting:

• Improved reconciliation or reporting processes

• Automated or simplified processes saving significant time

Campaign reporting:

• Confirm reporting needs before campaign launch
• Monitor data during campaigns
• Produce accurate reports post-campaign

Reconciliation:

• Verify donations, payment records, and partner records match
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies

Donor-advised fund operations:

• Prepare figures for DAF partner grants
• Track grants through to payment
• Keep charities informed on funding timelines

Gift Aid and tax receipts:

• Prepare UK Gift Aid data for submission
• Manage international donor tax receipts

Charity onboarding:

• Collect documents and complete checks
• Set up new charities for fundraising

Process improvement:

• Maintain and update trackers and processes
• Improve processes after each campaign

Payment disputes:

• Manage dispute reviews and responses within deadlines
• Submit evidence and track outcomes

This is a fully remote role open to candidates outside the UK, requiring substantial overlap with UK core hours due to collaboration with UK-based teams, partners, and charities. Workload peaks especially during and after Ramadan and Dhul Hijjah, requiring flexibility.
