IT Security Specialist

Nordea is one of the largest IT employers in the Tricity and Warsaw area, operating as a Nordic bank. The role is part of the IT Security Baseline team responsible for ensuring the company meets external regulatory standards and internal regulations related to security compliance.

• Understanding of the Linux and Windows platforms
• Experience performing security audits
• Knowledge of database administration is beneficial
• Familiarity with CIS benchmarking, MS Security Compliance Manager, Qualys Policy Compliance, or other security compliance assessment tools
• Basic knowledge of Python scripting
• Good written and oral communication skills in English

Nice to have:

• Knowledge about administering databases
• Experience with security compliance tools such as MS Security Compliance Manager and Qualys Policy Compliance

• Creating new Security Configuration Baselines based on vendor documentation and internal and external regulations including NIST, CIS
• Performing technical assessments to configure technologies securely
• Conducting in-depth analysis of security configuration requirements for various technologies
• Collaborating with other departments to promote a culture of compliance
