Senior Python Developer

Team Connect is a leading Polish IT service provider specializing in nearshore and offshore software development since 2008. They focus on Agile and DevOps methodologies, delivering backend, frontend, and mobile applications. This role involves working for a client in the electronics industry.

• 4+ years of commercial programming experience or equivalent open source contributions, including 2+ years with Python and pytest framework
• Understanding of concurrency and/or asynchronous programming (async/await)
• Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL and ORM frameworks like SQLAlchemy
• Proficiency in Git for team collaboration (3+ contributors)
• Strong analytical skills and ability to clearly present problems and solutions
• Open and good team communication
• Possession of PSC or readiness to undergo ABW security clearance

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of STANAG 4193 or experience with IFF systems
• Experience in defense sector projects
• Experience developing desktop applications, especially with Python GUI frameworks like Qt or wxWidgets
• Frontend experience with MVC/MVP patterns and good practices in JavaScript/CSS
• Experience in UI/UX design, rapid prototyping, or graphic processing
• Infrastructure skills including CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, and Linux
• Knowledge of design patterns, architectural patterns, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) tools

• Develop and maintain the IFF Data Tool application in Python
• Analyze functional and technical requirements based on STANAG 4193
• Design and implement new functionalities
• Analyze and resolve technical problems and document them for the team and client
• Collaborate with the client’s engineering team and participate in meetings
