Senior SAP HANA Developer

• 5+ years of experience in SAP HANA development or equivalent SAP roles
• Proven expertise in SAP HANA native modeling: Calculation Views, CDS Views, Procedures, and SQLScript
• Experience designing and maintaining ETL workflows and data pipelines in SAP environments
• Familiarity with integration of SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, or other legacy systems into data workflows
• Expertise in data performance optimization and database tuning for large datasets
• Experience in SAP BW environments, including InfoObjects, DSOs, Process Chains, and transformations (plus)
• Strong understanding of data architecture principles; experience with SAP Web IDE and BW/4HANA tools
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills with collaborative mindset

Nice to have:

• Background in manufacturing or engineering industries (quality assurance, supply chain analytics)
• Experience with SAP Datasphere, SAP Data Intelligence, or modern SAP integration tools
• Knowledge of visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI in addition to SAC

• Design, develop, and optimize SAP HANA native models including Calculation Views, CDS Views, Stored Procedures, and SQLScript
• Build and maintain efficient ETL pipelines extracting data from SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and third-party sources
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable data flows and architectures
• Develop end-to-end data workflows ensuring high data quality, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Work with frontend teams to enable real-time insights and dashboards via SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and other tools
• Support and enhance business processes with custom analytics and KPI tracking powered by SAP HANA backend
• Optimize data processing performance leveraging SAP HANA in-memory capabilities
• Contribute to cross-team projects collaborating with engineers, analysts, and architects
• Participate in Agile (SAFe) workflows including sprints, planning, and retrospectives
• Document and maintain technical best practices and knowledge sharing for SAP HANA solutions
