Infrastructure Architect Senior Specialist

Toyota Motor Europe operates a Digital Hub in Wrocław, established in 2026, serving as an IT research and development centre responsible for software and connected digital services for Toyota and Lexus brands in Europe. The role is within the Toyota Core IT department, which manages transversal IT infrastructure and technology components for the company, with a focus on Infrastructure Architecture acting as a bridge between application development and technology and infrastructure teams.

• Strong command of English, both written and spoken
• Several years of proven experience as an architect in complex, enterprise IT environments
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to question, cross-check facts, and uncover true states
• Broad, hands-on knowledge of modern IT technologies and infrastructure including cloud and SDLC
• Ability to conceptualize technology landscapes in terms of use cases and apply principles and patterns
• Demonstrated strong ownership and ability to drive topics end-to-end with minimal guidance
• Experience mentoring or coaching less experienced colleagues
• AI-minded with active use of AI for learning, analysis, and delivery
• Eager to keep learning and stay ahead of technology trends

• Work closely with technology experts, infrastructure teams, and application architects while leading architectural leadership on strategic topics
• Lead onboarding of complex, high-impact application projects including ecosystem impact assessment and target architecture definition
• Partner with infrastructure teams to introduce and industrialize new technologies and lead related planning and follow-up
• Own and publish technology roadmaps, driving strategic decisions on adoption and lifecycle management
• Define reference architectures, patterns, and standards, ensuring adoption across teams
• Serve as senior contact point for application teams to align needs and technology support
• Identify dependencies and lead planning of technology upgrades, migrations, and transformations
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture, Cloud, Middleware, and Database teams to align roadmaps and governance
• Mentor and coach junior architects and graduates and review their work
• Represent Infrastructure Architecture team in governance bodies and senior stakeholder discussions
• Contribute to continuous improvement of team workflows, tools, and frameworks
