Senior Commerce Solution Architect

• 8+ years experience in software architecture, systems integration, consulting, or solution design
• At least 3 years as Solution Architect on complex commerce or digital experience programs
• Experience in retail, e-commerce, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries
• Deep architecture expertise in enterprise commerce platforms such as SAP Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, commercetools, Shopify, or BigCommerce
• Strong knowledge of composable and MACH ecosystems
• Proven experience designing integrations across commerce, OMS, CDP, ERP (including SAP), CRM, and marketing platforms
• Strong cloud architecture expertise across AWS, Azure, or GCP, including microservices, containers, serverless, and API management
• Working knowledge of agentic AI concepts, AI-assisted workflows, and AI interoperability standards (A2A, MCP)
• Experience in technical pre-sales, estimation, proposal development, and executive presentations
• Strong understanding of security, privacy, and compliance (GDPR, CCPA, PCI DSS)
• Experience mentoring architects and technical teams
• Excellent communication, consulting, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
• English language proficiency at least C1

Nice to have:

• Experience introducing AI-powered or agent-based capabilities into enterprise commerce
• Hands-on with migrations from monolithic to composable/MACH architectures
• Involvement with MACH Alliance or similar organizations
• Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), personalization, DAM, content operations, or loyalty ecosystems
• Previous Technology Consulting experience or strong interest
• Relevant cloud, commerce platform, AI, or architecture certifications
• TOGAF certification or enterprise architecture framework experience

• Own end-to-end architecture for large-scale commerce and digital experience programs across platforms like SAP Commerce Cloud, Adobe, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, commercetools, Shopify Plus, and BigCommerce
• Define target-state architectures, technology roadmaps, including monolith-to-composable modernization and cloud migration
• Architect complex integration landscapes connecting commerce platforms with OMS, CDP, ERP, CRM, PIM, loyalty, and marketing ecosystems
• Establish architecture governance, design review processes, and reusable reference architectures
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles, security, compliance, and composable-core strategies
• Act as primary escalation for complex technical and architectural challenges
• Define AI-driven commerce strategies including GenAI-powered content, AI-assisted search, and agentic commerce capabilities
• Lead architectural decisions integrating GenAI and LLM technologies, including RAG architectures and vector search
• Evaluate AI interoperability standards like Agent-to-Agent (A2A) and Model Context Protocol (MCP)
• Advise clients on AI adoption roadmaps addressing governance, security, and risk
• Collaborate with EPAM's AI community to introduce innovative AI capabilities
• Lead technical pre-sales activities, including solution shaping, estimation, RFP/RFI responses, and executive presentations
• Facilitate discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and strategic consulting with C-level stakeholders
• Translate business objectives and AI transformation ambitions into investment-ready technology roadmaps
• Assess client technology landscapes and build business cases for AI-enabled transformation
• Identify growth opportunities by understanding client ecosystems and priorities
• Mentor Solution Architects, Software Architects, and engineering teams
• Contribute to and lead DEP Poland's Architecture and Composable Digital Communities
• Support development and assessment of emerging architects toward Solution Architect certification
• Represent DEP Poland's architecture capabilities internally and externally
• Collaborate with global commerce, digital experience, and AI experts on accelerators and thought leadership
• Work on enterprise programs combining consulting, architecture leadership, and technology innovation
• Grow expertise in modern commerce platforms, cloud technologies, AI solutions, and enterprise architecture practices
