Senior Java Developer/ Java Team Lead

• Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and building web systems
• Very good practical experience with Java in production
• Willingness to actively code approximately 75% of the time
• Experience building microservices architectures and distributed systems
• Knowledge of architectural and integration patterns
• Knowledge of API design and system integrations
• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Practical experience with relational databases, SQL, and query optimization
• Practical experience with Event-Driven Architecture
• Practical experience with end-to-end observability
• Understanding of application security principles
• Experience with code review, mentoring, and leading technical teams
• Experience in cross-team collaboration
• Experience co-creating technological decisions and risk assessments
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• English language proficiency minimum B2

Nice to have:

• Basic or practical knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Azure
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Familiarity with Agentic AI / AI in SDLC, e.g., AI in development, automation, or architectural decision support

• Design and implement solutions based on microservice architecture using Java
• Develop and enhance APIs and integrations communicating with EIS platform and company systems
• Collaborate on system architecture and make technical decisions
• Design solutions using architectural patterns, Event-Driven Architecture, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Ensure quality, performance, security, and scalability of delivered solutions
• Participate in analysis, design, and estimation of business and technical requirements
• Support Product Owners, analysts, and architects in feasibility and risk assessments
• Participate in Discovery and Inception workshops including decomposing Epics into Features and backlog preparation
• Conduct code reviews and mentor team members
• Assist the team in solving technical problems and maintaining high software development standards
• Collaborate with project, architecture, integration teams, and external suppliers
• Participate in defining and implementing CI/CD, observability, and DevOps practices
• Support preparation and maintenance of development, integration, and test environments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Promote and support the use of modern AI and Agentic AI tools in software development and automation
