As a Senior Software Engineer (Backend/C#) at Xopero Software, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development and maintenance of backup and recovery products protecting data for thousands of organizations worldwide. The role includes technical decision-making, architecture, implementation, and production stability of Xopero ONE or GitProtect. You will analyze customer problems, develop new backup sources and integrations, and improve product performance and observability.
Wymagania
- Minimum 5 years of commercial experience building and maintaining products using statically typed languages such as C#, .NET, Java, Go, C++, Rust, or Kotlin
- Experience with products running in production for over a year and ability to evaluate long-term technical decisions
- Skills in diagnosing production issues and analyzing root causes, including performance, memory, I/O, and concurrency
- Ability to design solutions balancing performance, cost, complexity, and delivery time
- Experience with containerized and orchestrated environments such as Kubernetes
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases, including modeling, query optimization, and data migrations
- Good knowledge of Windows and Linux for application behavior diagnosis
- Ability to work with legacy code, improving quality incrementally without full rewrites
- Integration of observability metrics, logs, and traces as part of system design
- Experience writing unit and integration tests
- Proficiency with Git and workflow models like trunk/feature flow
- Experience utilizing AI tools to support development and critical code review
- Responsibility-taking mindset for outcomes beyond assigned tasks
Nice to have:
- Experience with backup solutions, storage, file systems, or recovery mechanisms
- Knowledge of VMware or Hyper-V
- Experience with S3 or compatible solutions
- Experience with external platform APIs like Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Atlassian, GitLab, GitHub, or Azure DevOps
- Participation in production on-call or incident analysis
- Experience in migrating significant components or technologies in production products
- Close customer interaction during POCs, deployments, or technical escalations
- Automation of repetitive tasks via CI/CD, scripts, or internal tools

Obowiązki
- Own end-to-end responsibility for a selected product area in Xopero ONE or GitProtect, including architecture, technical decisions, implementation, and production behavior
- Analyze customer and user problems, question requirements, and design effective solutions
- Make informed technical decisions balancing performance, cost, complexity, time, and technical debt
- Develop platform features, backup sources, restores, and integrations, assessing feasibility and technical risks
- Diagnose and resolve production issues related to performance, memory, I/O, concurrency, and reliability
- Enhance product stability, performance, and observability for maintainability and monitoring
- Develop solutions in existing codebases, addressing technical debt without unnecessary rewrites
- Prepare systems for future application on-call duties by maintaining metrics, logs, tracing, alerting, and runbooks
- Conduct code and design reviews, mentor junior engineers, and share context
- Co-create and enforce software development standards
- Use AI-assisted development tools critically, ensuring full responsibility for code quality

Zgoda na przetwarzanie danych osobowych może zostać wycofana w dowolnym momencie.
