• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
• Strong experience in heavy or high-reliability industries such as nuclear, power generation, process, marine, oil & gas, or military environments
• Professional engineering licence (US PE, Canadian PEng, or internationally recognised equivalent)
• Proven hands-on experience with electrical analysis tools, particularly ETAP, and proficiency in digital engineering and collaboration platforms such as Hexagon Smart Electrical (SPEL), DOORS-NextGen, AutoCAD, and MicroStation
• Strong knowledge and practical application of relevant codes and standards including IEEE, IEC, CSA, NEC
• Demonstrated experience in grid integration, generator interconnection agreements, and protection & control systems including GE-Multilin and SEL relay programming

• Leading the design and integration of safety-related (SC1/Class 1E) and non-safety (SC2/SC3) electrical systems, including Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) distribution architectures across the plant
• Performing complex electrical studies including load flow, short circuit, motor starting, and protective relay coordination using ETAP software in accordance with ANSI and IEC standards
• Preparing key electrical engineering deliverables such as Requirements Specifications, Electrical Load Lists, One-Line Diagrams, Calculations, Schematics, and 3-Line Diagrams ensuring outputs are on-spec, on-budget, and on-schedule
• Developing detailed procurement specifications for major electrical components including main transformers, switchgear, diesel generators, and UPS systems, and collaborating with suppliers
• Supporting regulatory compliance and licensing activities in line with nuclear-specific standards and requirements from CNSC and NRC, and applicable codes including IEEE, IEC, CSA, NEC, and EU standards
