QA Test Engineer (Automation)

The role is within the banking industry, focusing on quality assurance and test automation to reduce manual testing efforts in a delivery team.

• General testing knowledge (e.g., level of ISTQB Foundation).
• Ability to lead and support QA activities across the delivery team.
• Willingness to improve skills in test automation.
• Effective communication skills to promote automation focus within the team.
• 7+ years of hands-on test automation experience (GUI and REST).
• Coding skills in Java.
• Experience with testing tools (Maven, Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Rest-Assured, Postman).
• Fluent in using GIT.
• Knowledge in non-functional testing, especially performance testing (JMeter).
• Familiarity with test management tools (preferably qTest).
• Experience with Confluence, Jira, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo).

Nice to have:

• Hands-on manual testing experience.
• Good presentation and communication skills.

• Implement automated test cases in coordination with developers, manual testers, product owners, and business experts.
• Reduce manual testing needs by automating front-end and back-end processes.
• Conduct performance testing in compliance with standards using JMeter.
• Gather and manage test data necessary for testing.
• Monitor, debug, and document test results.
• Proactively drive improvements to automated test coverage.

Required language: English. Working model: Flexible hybrid model (minimum 3 days/week in office).
