Test Automation / CI Engineer

• Strong hands-on expertise in Python test automation and pytest, PTF (Packet Test Framework), sonic-mgmt, and Ansible
• Solid background in CI/CD engineering and automated test orchestration
• Solid networking knowledge focused on routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), routing tables, VRFs, Layer 3 concepts, and SONiC routers
• Understanding of router concepts including overlay architecture, policies, and IPsec tunnels (hands-on router experience preferred)
• Proven debugging and troubleshooting skills including log reading and CLI-level investigation
• Experience collaborating closely with software development teams to translate features into test scenarios
• Hands-on use of AI tools in daily engineering work
• Experience with Docker and good Linux command-line skills including shell scripting
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD platforms
• Good knowledge of English (B2+ level)

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with Golang, C/C++, Groovy
• Experience with SD-WAN
• Hands-on experience with router solutions
• Familiarity with Jenkins and GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with physical or virtual network testbeds and virtual routers
• Experience with formal defect tracking systems
• Experience with traffic generators

• Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD test automation pipelines and test suites in Python for pre-commit PR testing and weekly regression runs
• Automate environment provisioning, traffic generation, network diagnostics, and continuous regression testing across virtual and physical testbeds
• Debug failed runs by analyzing device, system, and test logs, distinguishing product bugs from test-suite or environment issues, and raising well-documented defects
• Collaborate closely with development teams to understand delivered features and design test coverage
• Extend test automation as new features in the Routing area are delivered
• Leverage AI tools for scripting, log analysis, and root cause identification
• Coordinate issue resolution with suite owners and dev/test engineers via dedicated collaboration channels
• Manage physical and virtual testbed environments and provision resources for test execution
• Identify, analyze, and resolve flaky tests to maintain high pipeline reliability
