Senior Data Engineer with Astronomer [M/F]

The project involves development and support of a managed cloud-based DataOps platform based on Apache Airflow and Astronomer. The role combines competencies in Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, and technical support with a focus on stability and reliability of production environments.

• Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar role.
• Very good practical knowledge of Apache Airflow.
• Commercial experience in Python.
• Experience working with Astronomer/Astro in production environments.
• Experience with Data Engineering platforms or solutions.
• Experience diagnosing issues in production and distributed systems.
• Advanced knowledge of English language.

• Practical support in configuring Airflow, designing DAGs, scheduling, and troubleshooting issues.
• Serving as a technical advisor for client data engineering teams using diverse technology stacks.
• Assisting clients in integrating Airflow with existing data ecosystems such as cloud data warehouses, data transformation tools, and Infrastructure as Code solutions.
• Supporting clients during initial platform deployment and production environment launch.
• Diagnosing complex Airflow-related problems and helping clients develop stable and reliable solutions.
• Collaborating with the internal project owner responsible for scope management, status monitoring, and conducting meetings.
