Servicenow Developer

This position is for a remote role at emagine Polska within their ServiceNow team focused on Enterprise IT. The team works on enhancing patient care through advanced technology, including AI integrations within the ServiceNow platform. The ServiceNow program consists of approximately 50 dedicated individuals across multiple regions, supporting global development, operations, and maintenance of the platform, with two development teams and supporting product management and architecture teams.

• Over 6 years of experience in IT with strong software development and integration skills.
• At least 2 years hands-on with ServiceNow development, including scoped applications, update set lifecycle, REST/Table API, GlideRecord, and encoded queries.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with IDE-based code development, review, and optimization.
• Experience using AI-powered coding assistants and LLM-based development tools.
• Familiarity with LLM integration patterns, API design, prompt management, and AI guardrails; knowledge of Now Assist is a plus.
• Ability to work within enforced development governance including coding standards, peer review, and structured documentation.
• Strong technical writing skills for clear specifications and documentation.
• Technical curiosity and proactive learning in AI and ServiceNow technologies.
• Strong background in IT processes in large organizations.
• Practical experience with SAFe and ITIL workflows.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
• High cultural sensitivity and ability to work in cross-cultural, multi-time-zone teams.

Nice to have:

• Proficiency with Git version control and collaborative development workflows.

• Designing and implementing ServiceNow solutions using AI and custom integrations with LLM-based AI services.
• Developing robust integration frameworks to connect ServiceNow with external platforms and tools.
• Collaborating with architects, product owners, and development teams to follow best practices and development governance.
• Contributing to technical documentation, development standards, and knowledge sharing.
• Maintaining focus on data quality and understanding risks in AI solution design.
• Supporting the ongoing evolution, health, and reliability of ServiceNow's AI capabilities.
• Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements.
